Forced Mediation for NFL Labor dispute

The NFL Labor dispute is moving at a snails pace – but it’s moving.

U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson told both sides she’ll impose forced mediation early this week, according to ESPN.com, which cited “sources familiar with the situation.”

Nelson told both sides during a conference call she would work on a solution over the weekend and have a decision made by Monday or Tuesday. Attorneys for both sides took part in said conference call Friday to discuss mediation with Nelson.

The standoff continues though. Keep in mind, the NFL wants to resume negotiations before a federal mediator and the players prefer to remain in Nelson’s court.
