The Patriots watched a 13-game winning streak come to an end with a loss to VCU in the semifinals of the CAA tournament. Coach Jim Larranaga was named the CAA Coach of the Year – the last time was 2006, when the Patriots made it to the Final Four. They’ll try and run-and-gun the ball with Cam Long (15ppg) and Ryan Pearson (14ppg).
Villanova
A Top 10 ranking fell through their hands when they lost seven of their last last nine game – including the last five in a row. Villanova is a guard-heavy team that can run and they prefer to use the outside shot to beat teams.
