The longest losing streak in NBA history is finally over.
The Cleveland Cavaliers won their first game in 27 tries on Friday night with a 126-119 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in front of a sold out crowd at Quicken Loans Arena.
It is the Cavaliers first victory of 2011. Their last win came back on Saturday, December 18th, 2010 in a 109-102 victory over the New York Knicks. The Cavs 26-game losing streak set an NBA mark for futility and tied the record for most consecutive losses in professional sports history.
