Tampa Bay Rays sign OF Johnny Damon

The Tampa Bay Rays have signed outfielder Johnny Damon to a 1-year deal worth $5.25 million. Sports Illustrated’s Jon Heyman was the first to report the deal late Friday evening. The deal includes an additional $750,000 in attendance bonuses.
