Former female tennis star Anna Kournikova will be the new celebrity trainer on the reality show “The Biggest Loser.”
Kournikova will replace Jillian Michaels for the 12th season of the show.
She appeared during the live finale of season 11 on NBC Tuesday night to promote her new position.
The 29-year old Russian became well-known during the late 1990s on the tennis courts reaching a personal best ranking of eighth in the world in singles and number one in doubles. She has not competed professionally in the past eight years.
