Appalachian State, concerned with rising tuition costs and scholarship changes, is delaying a decision to move to Division-I. The school announced Friday that the panel in charge of the decision would not meet the May deadline.
This according to The Associated Press.
Appalachian State has been discussing a move from the Championship Subdivision to the Bowl Subdivision last fall.
The school announced that it wants to continue studying the potential financial impacts.
No new target date was announced.
