Denver Broncos defensive end Jason Hunter has reportedly been stabbed and has been taken to a local Detroit hospital.
According to Detroit Police Officer Dan Donakowski, there is no additional information regarding the stabbing at this time.
According to WXYZ Action News in Detroit, police took Hunter’s 23-year old girlfriend into custody. She is facing charges including felonious assault. Investigators later said the woman would not be arraigned on the charges because Hunter does not want to pursue the matter.
The five-year veteran also has played for the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
