The NFL is responding to players attempting to gain access to team facilities today. The message: Stay home.
The NFL is telling players it’s not appropriate yet for players to work out at team facilities. Citing that the lockout has been “ruled” on but an appeal is in the works.
The league issued a statement Tuesday, the NFL called for players to be “treated with courtesy and respect” when they arrive on team property but team’s still need “a few days to sort this out” before “football activities” can take place.
Players started arriving at team facilities Tuesday morning. Some were told to leave, others arrived to a locked door and some were let inside but told they would not be allowed to work out.
According to The Associated Press, Judge Nelson, who stopped the lockout, is planning onl taking at least another day to consider whether she should put her order on hold pending further appeals.
