The NFL players are getting bored. Police arrested Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt in his hometown of Bayonne, N.J., for charges of eluding an officer, hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental function.
And he probably has a speeding ticket coming, to boot.
The Police told The Associated Press Britt was driving his Porsche “at 71 mph in a 50-mph zone” Tuesday and drove away from the officer that attempted to pull him over.
The officer found him later walking down a side street. Britt denied being in the car, denied driving before admitting he was behind the wheel.
Titans spokesman Robbie Bohren told the AP the team is aware of the reports.
