Former Texas Tech coach, Pat Knight, is headed to Beaumont, Texas. He’ll take over at Lamar University.
The son of Hall of Fame coach, Bob Knight, will replace Steve Roccaforte. He left the program after going 76-78 in five seasons. On top of that, the Cardinals finished 13-17 and 7-9 in the Southland Conference.
Texas Tech fired Knight after he went 50-60 in three disappointing seasons.
