Brazilian striker Camillo Sanvezzo scored twice and helped the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 3-3 draw against Sporting Kansas City.
KC and Vancouver are now 1-1-1 in the standings.
Fans at Empire Field watched as Vancouver trailed 3-0 after Teal Bunbury scored his second goal in the 58th minute, and Kei Kamara added another in the 63rd for Kansas City.
Atibi Harris for Vancouver struck back roughly 10 minutes later. All was thought lost until Sanvezzo – making his MLS debut – scored twice in extra time.
