Brian Gregory will be inked in as the new men’s basketball coach at Georgia Tech.
He leaves University of Dayton with a 172-94 record. He was 22-14 this season and ended on a disappointing loss to College of Charleston. Dayton’s athletic department, Dave Harper, said Monday that Gregory was leaving and also posted a message on Twitter.
Gregory is replacing the fired Paul Hewitt.
Georgia Tech officials would not comment, pending official approval of Gregory’s contract.
