Don’t know how I missed this, but the NCAA released this announcement on Friday. The new hiring practices policy mandates that “any division I-A football program with a head coaching vacancy will interview at least one minority candidate“.
The new regulations were sent to D-I athletic departments almost three weeks ago. Big ups to the NCAA for taking the lead on this one.
