Had a great idea this afternoon while browsing through the countless articles I read everyday. I realized that there are a lot of stories that hit the wire that shouldn’t. They aren’t newsworthy to America.
In fact, they aren’t newsworthy to the people being covered.
Here’s the short list for March 3, 2011…
Really?
The Associated Press reported earlier today that Orioles left-hander, Brian Matusz, will get a wart removed. Really? Wart removal is now newsworthy? Should I go down to the clinic tomorrow and report on the people getting free condoms from Planned Parenthood, too?
Matusz’ wart is on the middle finger of his left hand and probably miss a start in spring training.
To quote Marie Claudet: “Don’t Care!”
Really, Really?
When someone from the Associated Press asked about the NFL labor dispute, President Barack Obama said: “I’ve got a lot of other stuff to do.”
Yeah, like run the free world. Why does America need to be informed that President Obama has more things to worry about that a contractual dispute between two groups with too much money.
In case America forgot, Libya – an all of it’s oil – are currently undergoing a massive revolution.
….Really?
Finally, my favorite: Baltimore Orioles right-hander Koji Uehara has been given a cortisone injection in his right elbow.
And the sun came up this morning. Dogs wagged their tails when they were happy. And people who text while driving are more likely to get in a car accident.
Tell me something I don’t know.
