Great news for football fans.
After nine days of negotiations, the NFL and the players’ association have agreed to extend the deadline of the current collective bargaining agreement past 11:59pm on Thursday evening.
They now have an extra 24 hours.
While the two sides are still far apart on several issues, progress has been made and an extension to the current CBA was put in place to attempt to give both sides additional time to iron out a new deal.
