Just one week after trading center Kendrick Perkins, the Boston Celtics depth in the front court took another blow on Wednesday evening as Glen “Big Baby” Davis left the game with a knee injury.
With less than a minute remaining in the Celtics 113-103 victory over the Phoenix Suns, Davis slammed home a meaningless dunk and landed awkwardly, collapsing to the court. He had to be assisted from the court by the team’s medical trainers.
Davis will have an MRI on his injured knee on Thursday.
