Hall-of-famer Joe Torre will be announced as the new Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations for Major League Baseball.
Torre will oversee all on-field activity for the MLB.
The move will be made official on Saturday afternoon with commisioner Bud Selig set to make a “major announcement regarding on-field matters” in Arizona.
