Judge schedules hearing about Bonds

The Barry Bonds saga continues. It’s never ending – the next trial will start March 21.

Today, U.S. District Court Judge Susan Illston will hear arguments today to determine, “what evidence tied to Bonds’ personal trainer Greg Anderson should be presented to the jury. Anderson told the judge he will refuse to testify against Bonds.”

The AP is reporting:

Because of Anderson’s refusal to testify, the judge has already excluded urine tests purportedly belonging to Bonds and showing positive for steroid use. Anderson allegedly collected the samples, but without his testimony the judge has ruled it’s impossible to prove the urine came from Bonds.

Bonds’ lawyers are also seeking the exclusion of even more evidence and witnesses connected to Anderson.
