The Denver Broncos are probably feeling a little better about their backup quarterback position Thursday.
In an-almost-like-real-game-experience. They were thrust into the first-team mid practice, Thursday after Starting quarterback Kyle Orton left practice early. He reportedly to be with his pregnant wife.
The two back-ups – Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn – didn’t disappoint.
Coach John Fox told reporters after practice that both handled the quick change well. Tebow did so well, in fact, many are speculating that he will take over Orton in the second half of the next preseason game against Seattle.
Tebow only played a handful of snaps against Buffalo.
