Well, maybe its not all good in Philly. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson might be considering holding out for a new contract. The stand-out wide-out is set to earn $565,000 in the final year of his rookie contract this season.
Talk about a deal. Obviously, Jackson is interested in a pay-raise.
Now, there are rumblings that Jackson won’t show up to camp until he gets a new deal. He wasn’t present when Philadelphia opened its team facilities Tuesday morning, and quarterback Michael Vick isn’t sure when Jackson will show.
“”Hopefully, he’ll be here tomorrow,” Vick said told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “DeSean just has some things to think about and some decisions to make that only himself can make.”
