USA U-19 basketball beats Australia

He’s playin bas-ket-baaaalllll. So, it’s not Mini Penny, but a different Hardaway. Tim Hardaway, Jr., the stand-out Michigan freshman, scored 21 points to help push the USA U-19 team to a 78-77 victory over Australia.

Jeremy Lamb, of NCAA champion Connecticut, made the final bucket with 29 seconds left. He tipped in his own miss. Lamb finished 2-of-16 shooting.

Hugh Greenwood had 26 points for Australia (6-3), including six 3-pointers. He missed a final desperation three-ball in the final seconds.
