With their second lottery selection and the 12th pick in the 2011 NBA draft the Utah Jazz shooting guard Alec Burks from the University of Colorado.
e 6’6” 193 pound Burks is a natural scorer who set Colorado’s single season scoring record with 779 points this past season.
The sophomore guard was named to the first team All Big 12 team last season.
Burks averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists last season. He joins number three overall pick Enes Kanter in Utah.
