The NCAA basketball coaching carousel continues. Radford might be the last school to get off the ride – they inked Virginia Commonwealth assistant coach Mike Jones.
As an assistant to Shaka Smart, Jones helped VCU make its first Final Four appearance last season.
Radford announced Jones’ hiring Tuesday and will be formally introduced at a news conference on Wednesday.
Jones replaces Brad Greenberg, who resigned last month. Greenberg was suspended in February for impermissible team travel and offering extra benefits to an ineligible player.
