Ohio State Quarterback Terrelle Pryor announced on Tuesday that he will forgo his senior season of eligibility and will no longer be a member of the Buckeyes program.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer was the first to report Pryor’s decision.
“In the best interest of my teammates, I have made the decision to forgo my senior year of football at The Ohio State University,” Pryor said in a statement released by his lawyer, Larry James.
Pryor had already been suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season for accepting improper benefits from a Columbus tattoo-parlor owner. His future is uncertain at this time.
