Pistons fire John Kuester

The Detroit Pistons have fired Head Coach John Kuester. The combination of empty seats and new ownership helped see Kuester out the door.

This, just four days after Tom Gores completed an agreement to purchase the Pistons from Karen Davidson.

Kuester was 57-107 over two years. The Pistons failed to make the postseason in consecutive seasons for the first time since missing it three straight times from 1993-95.
