Pete Rose getting some Reality TV TLC

At 71-years-old, Pete Rose is stepping back into the batters box. Only this time he is taking a crack at reality television.

The cable network TLC, most famous for home and garden fixer-uppers, says it has started production a show following baseball’s all-time hitting leader and his fiancee, model Kiana Kim.

“It’s not going to be classless,” Rose told Entertainment Weekly. “It seems like a lot of reality shows aren’t really reality, but our reality show is going to be funny, entertaining and real.”

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Ms. Kim, feel free to help yourself to the Google Machine for a moment.

Okay?

Turns out that the series will follow the two from wedding plans to trying to convince the two families to like each other. So far the series is only “ok’d” for five episodes, but more could be added later.

No air-date has been released yet.
