LSU hired Nebraska defensive backs coach Corey Raymond on Tuesday. He will fill the same role with the Tigers.
LSU coach Les Miles made the announcement Tuesday afternoon. Miles said Raymond will replace Ron Cooper. Cooper resigned last week to take an assistant’s job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Raymond was a three-year starter for LSU in the late 80s and early 90s. He then played six seasons in the NFL.
