Just a few weeks after Darnell Walker Jr. signed to play for Tulsa, His father Darnell Walker Sr. signs to help coach the team.
The former NFL cornerback will start as an assistant coach at Tulsa with hopes he’ll be able to help mentor his son. Walker Sr. played in the NFL from 1993-2000 for the Falcons, 49ers and Lions.
He had been working as the defensive backs coach for Southwest Baptist (Mo.) for the past three years.
