The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without Michael Beasley as they travel to Los Angeles and Utah this weekend. Beasley has been suffering from a sprained right foot and will miss the road trip.
The T’Wolves play the Clippers Friday and the Jazz Saturday. He hasn’t played in seven-consecutive games, this will bring his total consecutive-games missed to nine.
Beasley, who is averaging 13 points and four rebounds per game when he plays, has shed his walking boot recently but he is still not ready to return to game action.
This is the price the NBA is paying for scheduling the season so tightly. In any other season he wouldn’t miss nine games if he was sidelined for just 13 days.
