“I am flattered by the interest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ organization,” Oregon Ducks football head coach, Chip Kelly said in a statement. “I enjoyed meeting with the Glazer family and General Manager Mark Dominik but after numerous discussions, I concluded that I have some unfinished business to complete at the University of Oregon.”
So, as it turns out, Chip Kelly will not be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kelly has really made some leaps and bounds while at Oregon. In just three seasons, Kelly has tallied 34 wins and been to – and won – the Rose Bowl.
No details about the deal with the Bucs was released.
