The Minnesota Timberwolves and Kevin Love won’t be separated anytime soon. The team and Love agreed to a four-year extension worth roughly $60 million.
The two sides faced an 11 p.m. deadline to make a deal, otherwise the All-Star would ahve ben a restricted free agent this summer.
The deal was first reported by Yahoo! Sports.
Love isn’t in love with the deal. He was hoping for a fifth year. But the power forward will net the league max-salary under the new collective bargaining agreement.
More to come…
