The NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, was at Ford Field on Sunday for the Minnesota Vikings – Detroit Lions game and continued to say he hopes that HGH-testing starts “sooner rather than later.”
Human growth hormone testing was apart of the new NFL collective bargaining agreement signed this past summer. So far, the players association has resisted the testing because they have concerns about the tests accuracy and want to solidify the appeals process.
Goodell, who made the remarks while speaking with reporters after hosting a fan forum at Ford Field, understands the NFLPA’s hesitation about testing but is still pursuing testing.
