Grant Hill returns, drinks more Sprite

I think I’m the only person who remembers that old Sprite commercial that shows Grant Hill doing a 360 dunk and then some kid drinks a Sprite, tries the same thing and gets epically rejected. But it’s a fantastic commercial. By the way, Grant Hill can still dunk, that kid, well no one really knows what happened to that kid.

(Edit: I just checked Twitter and I’m not the only one. Big ups to everyone representing the Grant Hill / Sprite references on Twitter)

Proof that Hill can still bring it? Well, reports are coming out of the Associated Press that Hill will return to the Suns for his, like, 20th season.Okay, so it’s actually going to be his
17th season.

No. 33, who has played in Detroit and Orlando before landing in Phoenix is said to have signed a one-year $6.5 million dollar contract.

Then again, in the NBA, they throw $6 million at just about anyone. And before I forget, here is that commercial…

Hill did test the free agent market – shortly – before deciding to return to Phoenix. He’s the leagues second oldest player behind Greg Oden’s face. He finished last season averaging 15.8 points per game.
