Two days before the season-opener for the USC Trojans, defensive secondary coach, Willie Mack Garza, resigned.
The move came as a surprise to many. Garza cited personal reasons, unrelated to his duties at USC.
He came to USC with Lane Kiffin from Tennessee in January 2010. He joined assistant head coach Monte Kiffin and defensive coordinator Ed Orgeron in the move.
No word yet on who will be replacing Garza.
