The Associated Press is reporting that the NFL notified all 32 teams that the league will not be testing for HGH before the start of the season next Thursday.
The document sent to the teams was obtained by The Associated Press Friday.
NFL lead counsel Jeff Pash explains in the document that a disagreement with the union over testing procedures is going to prevent testing before Week 1 – even though it was agreed upon in the newest collective bargaining agreement. Though, blood testing for human growth hormone was only going to be allowed if the union agreed to the methods.
The NFLPA has not agreed, yet.
