The “Dawg Pound” is probably feeling a bit of deja vu this morning. The Cleveland Browns have named a new starting quarterback for 2011.
And it is a different guy than a year ago. This is the 10th time since 1999 the Browns have named a new starting quarterback for the season opener.
Colt McCoy will start the season at quarterback for the Browns. He is one year removed from being inactive on starting day last season.
He did well during the 2011 preseason, though. First-year coach, Pat Shurmur, is pleased with how well McCoy has run the West Coast offense.
