I feel for San Diego Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding. I really do. Kaeding is scheduled to have an MRI exam Monday. It turns out it could be a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his left knee.
ACL injuries suck. I know it. You know it.
But what also sucks is losing the opening game of your fantasy season. What sucks more? Losing the opening game of the season to a long-time rival.
What sucks even more? Losing because you didn’t get an expected six points from a kicker. A Kicker that’s nails. A bulletproof kicker. One who ALWAYS produces points.
Sad day for me, and all of the Nate Kaeding owners out there. Keep in mind, though. If Kaeding is gone for the season, the Chargers will make a move soon and there are plenty of free agent kickers.
I’m sure there is a Gramatica somewhere looking for a job. There is an ACL joke in there somewhere…
As for me, I still have The Law Firm, BenJarvis Green-Ellis, to play. Only now he needs to double his point total, I need 30 points from him to pull out the “W.”
Yeah, I was expecting 15 out of Kaeding, don’t judge me.
