The NBA Lockout is nearing the three-month mark and L.A. Lackers star Kobe Bryant says he’s considering playing overseas. Bryant has made similar remarks previously. Only this time he did so from overseas.
Recall that the Turkish club Besiktas said in July it had contected Bryant’s representatives about possibly playing for the team.
Bryant told The Associated Press in Singapore on Saturday that he hasn’t ruled out playing for a team outside the United States. He told The AP while sitting on the sidelines of a youth basketball clinic.
Some players and league officials have warned there is a possibility that the 2011-12 NBA season will never happen because of the lockout.
Much like during the NFL Lockout, Bryant said informal workouts with Lakers teammates have been discussed but haven’t been scheduled yet.
