It seems to be a trend – only this time Oakland Raiders quarterback, Jason Campbell, isn’t on Twitter. Campbell left the Raiders’ preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers early on Saturday night.
H sustained an injury during the second quarter after he took a forearm to the helmet.
Campbell was scrambling on the play when 49ers’ Justin Smith and Ahmad Brooks met him, violently. Campbell was down on the ground for a few moments while being checked out by trainers.
He walked off the field on his own. No word on the extent of the injury. Campbell was 5 for 7 for 74 yards in two-plus series when he left the game.
Recall last year in a preseason game against the 49ers, Campbell left the game with a stinger.
