Linebacker Channing Crowder announced that he’s retiring. The anouncement comes less than two weeks after he was cut by the Miami Dolphins.
Crowder might be best known for his rant talking smack to the New York Jets.
The 27-year old said he tried out with the New England Patriots but decided it was time to retire. He made the announcement on WQAM Radio in Miami.
Last season, Crowder made 33 tackles in 11 games. He missed five games with injuries. He was drafted in the 2005 NFL Draft in the third round.
