Bruce Pearl wont be sitting on his coach for very long. The former Tennessee and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee coach will meet with the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League about the coaching position Thursday.
Reports are that Pearl will be accepting a position.
Both Pearl and co-owner Donnie Nelson will address the media after the meeting.
Pearl would be replacing Nancy Lieberman, who led the Legens to the playoffs in her only season as coach. Lieberman is not the assistant general manager.
Recall that Pear admitted lying to NCAA investigators earlier this year and was ultimately fired by Tennessee in March.
