The Washington Kastles have won the World Team Tennis 2011 Championship.
The Kastles defeated the St. Louis Aces to win the 2011 crown.
Kastles’ Bobby Reynolds closed out the night to cap the 16-0 season. The Kastles are the first team in the nearly 40-year history of the league to go undefeated in the regular season and take the championship.
“my team gives me a lead every night,” Reynolds said after the match. “I just go out and get my one point.”
The Kastles defeated the Aces, 23-19.
