Well, after the big move, the Winnipeg Jets are already shopping for ways to spruce up the place. Friday, the team acquired center Eric Fehr from the Washington Capitals for a fourth-round draft pick in 2012 and prospect Danick Paquette.
Fehr had 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) last season with the Capitals. He was drafted by the Capitals in 2003 with the 18th pick.
He might be happy to return home: He is a Winkler, Manitoba native.
In the past week, the Jets have signed Winnipeg natives Jason Gregoire and Derek Meech along with Rick Rypien and Mark Flood, two former members of the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, according to The Associated Press.
