Well, it’s 3 p.m. and things are looking up – but not in a good way. People are looking at the skies waiting for thunderstorms.
No Bueno.
Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. and the radar is looks green, yellow and red to the west.
The outlook is grim. And this is on the heels of a catastrophe last night. The Nationals were credited with the worst goof up in club history – they lost 10-9 after opening a 8-0 lead. The Nats crossed the plate eight times through the first four innings yesterday while holding the Cubs to a handful of hits.
Then the floors came out from beneath the Nats.
They gave up nine uncontested runs and were left looking over both shoulders at the same time.
Today, they look to rebound as they start a new series with the Colorado Rockies.
