Well, good morning, hockey! The Kettler Capitals Iceplex was already busy at 9 a.m. when Jon and I arrived. And when I say busy, I mean it.
The ‘Caps are using both rinks at the Iceplex today. On the one everyone but the goalies are skating, what can best be described as, a 40-yard-dash and on the other goalies are taking shots. A lot of shots. And not the kind that “The Situation” and “Snookie” take on a Friday (or Tuesday) night.

There is a scrimmage scheduled for this afternoon and the players are doing their best to impress the coaches now while saving enough juice to impress the coaches later.
It’s a difficult balance.
