It’s could become a familiar sight around the NBA.

Tuesday, the Minnesota Timberwolves laid off at least 11 people on the business side of the team. MEanwhile, Mike Woodson was reportedly in town to interview for the head coaching position.

The Associated Press was the first to report the story regarding the layoffs and cited anonymous sources. The Timberwolves are not discussing personnel matters. The T’Wolves are at least the third team in the league to start laying off employees.

Remember, the Charlotte Bobcats laid off roughly a half-dozen people – including radio play-by-play announcer Scott Lauer – and the Detroit Pistons let 15 employees go earlier this month.
