Roger Clemens trial update – 7/11/11

The trial continues, even though it hasn’t officially started. But, it’s getting close. The two sides only need to “OK” a few more jurors before the perjury trial against baseball star Roger Clemens can begin.

So far, attorneys for both sides spent three days intensely questioning 50 Washingtonians – including a more than 80 question survey – to weed out any who may have a bias against Clemens or Congress.

Clemens is charged with lying under oath when he said he never used steroids or human growth hormone..
