The NBA Draft is roughly 24 hours away and the Phoenix suns are busy preparing for the future.
One that – according to President of Basketball Operations, Lon Babby – includes Steve Nash.
Babby emphatically told reporters that the two-time league MVP isn’t going anywhere, and he added center Marcin Gortat to the untouchable list. He sent an e-mail to the press repeating that: “We are not trading Marcin Gortat, period. End of sentence. We are not trading Steve Nash, period, exclamation point.”
Thankfully his skills in basketball ops are better than his skills at sentence structure.
