Outdoor hockey is making a comeback. Ohio State and Michigan are finalizing plans to play an outdoor hockey game at Progressive Field.
According to The Associated Press, the two schools are trying to move one of their January matchups to the home of the Cleveland Indians – which seats 43,000 fans.
It would be the first outdoor hockey game in Ohio history
Michigan hosted a successful outdoor game last season against Michigan State dubbed “The Big Chill at the Big House,” which drew more than 100,000 fans to the Wolverines’ football stadium.
