Over the weekend, ESPN’s Buster Olney really stirred the pot. He reported that league sources were considered evening the playing field and changing the divisions – moving a team from the NL to the AL
Sources – including those approached by The [Five] Daily – confirmed Monday that if a realignment were to take place, the Astros would be the team that would move.
From one league source to another… Another source came out Monday disagreeing with Olney.
The source, second-year Astros’ manager, Brad Mills, didn’t have much faith, saying the rumors didn’t carry a “whole lot of stock” to him. Implying that the talk of realignment would most likely break down before anything would happen in 2012. Mills went on to say that no one discussed such a possibility with him.
